Think of all the fantastic music from movies we’ve heard over the years. The JazzMN Orchestra kicks off the season with big screen music by bringing in trumpeter Wayne Bergon who has been part of over 300 movies. From Pirates of the Caribbean to solos in The Incredibles, The Green Hornet and The Perfect Game, he is one of the most active soundtrack musicians. As a sideman, Bergeron’s credits list like a who’s who in contemporary jazz and pop,-running the stylist gamut to include Ray Charles, Maynard Ferguson, Christina Aguilera, Green Day and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band.

ABOUT JazzMN
The JazzMN Orchestra includes many of the Twin Cities' finest jazz musicians. Members have performed with some of the world's most famous big bands, including Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Artie Shaw, and Woody Herman. Formed as a nonprofit jazz arts organization by Artistic Director Douglas Snapp in 1998, JazzMN is a professional orchestra combining the talents of outstanding jazz musicians from throughout the Twin Cities, and follows the models of classical orchestras in striving for artistic excellence.
